The Mexico Tribal Casino Calls For Gambling Contract
New Mexico will ask local authorities to approve the new agreement, as their agreement expires in four months.

Tribal representatives have already discussed the above-mentioned agreements with the governor and have announced that their agreements will probably be introduced to the legislature in the coming days.

Senator Clemente Sanchez, chairman of the compact committee, has reached out for comment and said he expects the compact to proceed quickly when it is submitted to local authorities.

But Governor Susanna Martinez said negotiations too often could be difficult and take longer than expected.

This year, the tribes hope that everything will go according to plan. Since last year, the Senate has rejected a treaty formed between the Navajo people and Governor Martinez.

In fact, it is safe to say that tribes are really pressed for time. The legislative session is scheduled to end in the third week of March and can operate legally within the state until June 30.

In a brief interview with local media, Ben Shelley, president of Navajo Nation, said the smartest thing the authorities can do is approve the agreement because it is in the financial interest of the country.

Those who continue to get information on the tribal gambling problem rushed to remind them that Navajo Nation last year asked for permission to build three casino venues, but their proposal met opposition from other tribes concerned about the tough competition they had to bear.

But this year the offer is a little different. If approved, the Navajos will be eligible to build another casino and will continue to operate two existing casinos. 슬롯머신

In the case of other tribes, their contracts expire at the end of June, but according to the information they have revealed, they will not set up new casinos soon.

However, there is one setback in this year's contract. There is a clause in it that is defined as incompatible with the federal Indian Game Regulation Act.

At the heart of the debate is whether tribes are allowed to establish casinos on land acquired by trusts after 1988.

The contract must be approved by the Legislature and the Home Office. Members of the latter submitted a letter to the senator and announced that the provision "may violate IGRA."

Although the law may in some cases allow the construction of casinos on land acquired since 1988, some restrictions still apply.
