This is an application form for 350 Sacramento's Board of Directors. This application is open to all who have participated in 350 Sacramento's events. We especially encourage Black, Indigenous, people of color, and people of other historically marginalized backgrounds to apply.
The primary role of a boardmember for 350 Sacramento is to serve as a part of the organization's decision making body, carry financial responsibility for the organization, and to provide guidance and oversight to staff and volunteers. Board meetings are usually held once a month for around an hour, reviewing matters pertaining to the organization and voting on decisions for the organization as necessary. Boardmembers tend to be active participants or leaders in some of the organization's various teams, projects, and activities. Boardmembers are also encouraged to attend the organization's monthly leadership council meeting.
Filling this application is the first step in our board elections process, and it adds you as a potential candidate for our next elections, set to take place annually in October. Applications are due no later than September 30th.
