Direct immigration legal services are available free of charge to​ ALL CSU students, employees, and their immediate families.​​ At SJSU, individuals can schedule an appointment with an immigration attorney from Immigrant Legal Defense (ILD), a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing immigration legal services. ILD’s mission is to promote justice through the provision of legal representation to underserved immigrant communities. ILD serves students, staff, faculty & families at CSU campuses in the Central Valley, Central Coast, and Bay Area.

SERVICES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
-detained and non-detained deportation (court) defense,
-DACA,
-family petitions,
-U & T visas,
-asylum,
-applications for lawful permanent resident status,
-alternative paths toward immigration relief
-and citizenship.

All consultations will take place over the phone.  
Translation services are provided upon request.
