What are the important qualities for jumping?

The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding and communication between dance science and dance practice.

You are invited to participate in this study on the perception of jumping qualities because you are a dance teacher who is over 18 years of age.

Objective: To explore the qualities associated with jumping from the dance teacher's perspective

Rationale: Jumping is an important element in dance training with the aesthetic look of the jump being of paramount importance. The necessary qualities, however, for jumping are not well established and the dance teacher's perspective has never been explored.

Benefits: We hope that this study will improve the understanding and communication between science and practice.

Risks: There are no associated risks with your participation in this study.

Task: List a maximum of 10 qualities/aspects that you think are important in jumping.

Confidentiality

All responses will be strictly confidential and in line with the code of conduct of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. Your data will be stored in a secure server, in accordance with GDPR regulations, and eventually destroyed after a maximum period of five years. All responses will be anonymous therefore your responses will remain confidential. The only people with access to the data will be the principal investigator and his collaborators.

You are free to withdraw from participating in this research and withdraw the use of your data at any time without any negative pressure or consequences.
