YEmpower recognises that we each have our own superpowers and abilities. We recognise that each of us has abilities and superpowers that we want to hone and develop. We recognise unique opportunities, wonder, and new ideas that can come from sharing and swapping our skills and experiences. We also understand how important it is that YEmpower expands on its existing work and opens up new spaces for connectivity, creation, and development for young people.

That’s why the leadership team in partnership with our interested community members have developed and discerned “Skillshare! A Micro-Mentoring Network.”

“The Skillshare Network” provides what we like to call micro-mentoring avenues. These micro-mentoring avenues are tailored to the specific interest area(s) of each community member participant - and community members complement and mentor each other in various ways to develop each other’s super-powers.

Superpowers and skills can be developed and honed in many heartful and creative ways. It can be pure knowledge transferal through practicable tips shared one-on-one, for a total of a few hours - alternatively it could be a group or partnership project that each community participant directs themselves and improves. These projects can be created for private, public or no audience at all.

The following questions will help the YEmpower leadership and facilitators communicate to you, just who is out there ready to help you achieve your areas of interest and pursuits of passion in 2022!
