Three years ago we created the Ring Readers’ Club as a way to engage audiences in reading and discussing new plays and to offer valuable feedback to playwrights as they refined their work.
The Club has then been expanded into the Ring-Works program, which also features an intensive peer-to-peer review of the selected plays with a mentor playwright. The process will culminate in the reading of each work in front of a live audience and a talk-back with the Club members for further feedback.
This Season's selected works are:
THE FINAL REEL by William Ivers and Walter Freeman - Reading: January 29, 2024 - Moderated by Jack Neary
MAYBE TOMORROW by Max Mondi - Reading: March 25, 2024 - Moderated by Jack Neary
SCRAMBLED EGGS by Maya Gelting - Reading: May 13, 2024 - - Moderated by Christopher Savage
Joining the Ring Readers Club is free of charge.
Although we do hope you'll want to actively participate every time, registering does NOT mean you'll have to join each and every play reading.
When we share a new script you will be able to tell us if you are interested in joining the conversation about it.
We want to keep this as flexible and as inspiring as possible!
