The Americans called this village of 50 inhabitants in the middle of nowhere "Little Berlin". Like Berlin, Mödlareuth became a symbol of the divided Germany.

We will meet on May 18th 2019 at 9:15am  on  the parking lot next to the International Office. The bus will leave at 9:30am to take us to Mödlareuth for a guided tour in English.

Afterwards, we'll stop for lunch at a beer garden close by and should be back in Bayreuth around 3:30-4 p.m.
The fee is 10€ for the bus ride and the tour and must be paid to the Welcome Centre by Friday, the 17th of May at 12 noon. Be sure to bring money for your lunch.
