Online Training Opportunities for Caregivers
Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19, in-person training is temporarily suspended.  To support the needs of caregivers during this time of social distancing, the Child Welfare Partnership at PSU will be offering additional online trainings.  This form will temporarily be used to register for these additional trainings.

Caregivers are essential to keeping children safe.  
On a daily basis they provide the care and support necessary for children served by the State of Oregon's child welfare system.  

If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, you must first complete the initial training - Foundations of Fostering and Adopting.  Foundations training is hosted in person by each branch, click here to find your local contact.

To maintain certification and enhance their ability to care for children in state custody, caregivers must complete 30 hours of education every two years.

This is a 1 hour recorded webinar to help caregivers support learning at home.  Once registration has been confirmed, you will receive a link to watch the video at your convenience.  Trainer has also included resource materials that will be sent along to you. Recorded April 10, 2020
