ABOUT US:Eugene Darkroom Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Eugene, Oregon, dedicated to preserving and promoting film photography. We’re committed to revitalizing the medium by investing in the photographic talent of people in the Eugene area, providing an equipped darkroom for analog photographers, and making education about the medium accessible to the community. Our darkroom and education program are located at Maude Kerns Art Center.
ABOUT THE EVENT:We're hosting a Year End Art Market & Benefit Show at Alluvium on Saturday, December 3rd, with attractions such as live music, photo-based local art vendors, raffles and silent auction items, and more! All proceeds from our fundraisers go towards our darkroom and education programs, helping us continue to provide access and education in analog photo processes.
ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:
We are seeking help from both our members and community of supporters to help make this event a success. There are a variety of roles and areas of interest that you can contribute in, as well as a number of shifts that need to be filled. Please read the following details and fill out this form if you are interested and available to help.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & AREAS OF INTEREST:
Some areas we are looking for help in are set-up, clean up, break down, event photography, food and drink monitors, merchandise and art sales monitors, and more. More detailed descriptions about each of the volunteer roles can be found in the "Roles & Areas of Interest" section of this form. Please check ALL roles you'd be interested in filling in this section, and we'll get back to you closer to the event with role and shift assignments to make sure all areas are covered AND that no one takes on too much.
SHIFTS & AVAILABILTY:
In the "Shifts & Availability" section of this form, please indicate ALL available shifts that you would be available for. Shifts are broken up into one hour increments, and we will be keeping an eye out to make sure no one has taken on too much and ensuring that all volunteers have plenty of breaks and get to participate in the fun of the evening. We are asking that all volunteers arrive about 15 minutes before their scheduled shift to get a brief orientation from EDG event coordinators, so please keep that in mind when noting your availability.
