Registration Fees: 
Registration fees go toward the cost of ice time for practices, games, and tournaments, referees for home games and tournaments, a jersey or jerseys to use for the season. $50 of the registration fee is for the City of Hoyt Lakes for the arena and recreation fees.   

(Additional equipment is available for all levels --Termites & Mini-Mites/Pops are free, Mites and above pay a rental fee.)
Additional Requirements (ALL Levels: Mini-Mites-Squirts)
In addition to the fees for registration, we have the following requirements to help our program function and continue to keep costs low. 

1.  Hockey Hut Fee ($250) (NOTE: Mini-Mites("Pops")-Squirts) 
2. Volunteer Fee ($250) (NOTE: Mites and Squirts ONLY) 
3. Cash Calendar ($300) (NOTE: Mites and Squirts ONLY) $300 is due at registration. Tickets are $20 each. As you sell your tickets, you will recover the costs.

1. Hockey Hut Fee (ALL Levels: Mini-Mites - Squirts)
The Hockey Hut is one of our main fundraisers each season. Hockey Hut Fee Each family will include $250 with their Registration fee. This fee is either HELD until February 1st or CASHED, depending on your choice of OPTION 1 or OPTION 2, below:

 Option 1: Families are asked to cover 2 shifts, which can be completed during 2 Youth or Junior Gold Games in the Hockey Hut during the Hockey Hut Season (Sept 1st-May 1st). 

NOTE: Your home tournaments or 4 on 4 games do not count for hockey hut shifts. This is approximately 5-6 hours. (Separate from the 20 Volunteer Hours.) 

These shifts are tracked in DIBS. Claim your shifts on a first come, first serve basis. The $250 check is HELD if you choose this option. **If you have not completed the requirement by February 1st the check will be cashed. This is a requirement of registration and your child will not be able to play without completing the shifts or payment. This original check is either returned to you or destroyed upon completion of the 2 shifts. Contact the Treasurer once you have completed your shifts.

Option 2: Families are asked to cover 2 shifts via "buyout". The $250 check is immediately cashed and your Hockey Hut shifts will be covered by someone else (possibly an individual or group the association may need to hire to cover the requirements of our lease with the City of Hoyt Lakes).

2. Volunteer Fee (Levels: Mites-Squirts)
Volunteer Hours MEYHA is made up of volunteers, so it is important that we have all of our families involved in the association so that we can continue to provide youth hockey in our community for our children. In order to keep our costs low for our families, we need to fundraise. 

Volunteer Fee Each family will include $250 with their Registration fee. This fee is paid back to you (via check from the Treasurer) upon completion of 20 volunteer hours. *Pops/Termites are not required to complete volunteer hours, but are expected to help out with the association since you are the future. 
Volunteer hours are earned in the following ways:

● Home Games (Announcer, Books, Clock, Penalty Box) 
● 4-on-4 Hockey Hut shifts 
● Tournaments (Running the tourney games with the above jobs, Hockey Hut hours are considered "Volunteer Hours" during tournaments, Raffle table (if running a raffle)
● Board member, Team Managers, Coaching Position approved by ACE Coordinator
● Other opportunities are available, too, as needs arise throughout the season.

 Volunteer checks will be cashed on November 1st. This is a part of registration and required for your child to skate. Volunteer hours are tracked via DIBS. Once your 20 hours are completed, you contact the treasurer to let him/her know your hours are done and he/she will cut you a check, reimbursing the $250.

I understand the $250 Volunteer Fee is cashed on November 1st and then reimbursed, upon my family's completion of 20 Volunteer Hours.  I further understand that it is my responsibility to claim the hours on DIBS, track my hours, and contact the Treasurer for reimbursement of my $250 when my hours are completed.
3. Cash Calendar Fundraiser (Levels: Mites-Squirts)
Each family will receive 15 Cash Calendar tickets to sell, for $20 each.

The Association collects this money at registration, a total of $300 per family (not per player), since the prizes are cash.

I understand that I will be paying $300 and will receive 15 tickets to sell on behalf of the MEYHA for $20 each.  I will return the tickets by the deadline required for the drawing.
