Thursday, November 9. If you are new, then you will learn about what Science Olympiad is, the expectations, and the commitment. For returning members, you will will also hear of any changes to the events and get the required dates for competition. So please come.
I'll give the kids an activity to work on afterschool until 4:00. I hope the little later start gives more parents a chance to come. Please make sure there is a parent/guardian representative at the meeting with your child. Science Olympiad is a big time commitment and I want to make sure families know what to expect.
I will have a follow up meeting, called my organizational meeting, afterward for those who choose to go forward. This is tentatively planned for December 5.
