Please list a specific location that you and/or your group would like to adopt or a set number of miles. 

We will do our best to find a location that fits your criteria.

The location must be a public roadside or pathway.  Our grants do not pay for the cleanup of private properties.

What happens after you submit the Adopt-A-Spot Application?
  • The KSGB Executive Director will review your application and assign you and/or your group an Adopt-A-Spot Location.  
  • You will receive a contract via DocuSign.  Complete, sign, and submit the contract as soon as possible.
  • KSGB will contact you to make arrangments to get you the provided Adopt-A-Spot Tools that will allow you to complete your Adopt-A-Spot litter cleanups safely and effectively. 
  • KSGB will send you the following documents via email: the Volunteer Safety Information Sheet and the Volunteer Agreement and Release of Liability Form.  The form will need to be completed by each volunteer and returned to KSGB prior to your first cleanup.
  • KSGB will send you the Adopt-A-Spot cleanup report.  You must complete and submit a cleanup report after each cleanup activity.  Without the report, KSGB is unable to pay you and/or your group for your cleanup efforts.
