Brought to you by the Wonder Institute, this 2-week long Summer Filmmaking Intensive will teach students how to advance their creative and technical skills. Students will learn all the basics of filmmaking, including writing, cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing, and will also have the chance to specialize in a certain area if desired. If you've ever wanted to learn more about how to effectively make a video, whether you like fiction, documentary, action sports, and/or nature, this Intensive will be a step forward for your media career. Applicants are encouraged to bring in their own ideas and will come out of the program with a completed film. Our teachers, Bradley Smith and Alyson Spery, are committed to uplifting student voices. They will help students hone their individual styles while also facilitating collaborative learning.
