The Young European Movement Manchester is looking for volunteers to join our Taskforce DEMOS, which will be focusing on a wide range of activities relating to democracy, freedom and rule of law in Europe.

Main Focus:
- Democracy & Debate
- Shape our DuP Campaign (https://jef.eu/campaign/democracy-under-pressure)
- Support our Activities for Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and more!
- Supporting Communities from CEE
- International Scope

Possible Tasks:
- Coordinating with cultural and political societies and partner organisations
- Taking part in our student campaign for Ukraine with the UoM Students' Union
- Working with the Eastern European community in Manchester
- Working on events and social media campaigns
- Keeping track of #DemocracyUnderPressure social media activities
- Coordinating with our JEF network across the continent
- Conducting research on the state of democracy in Europe and political situation in specific countries
