1. How is your lab or cancer center tracking or measuring any turnaround time indicators related to biomarker testing? What work flows do you follow to triage samples to ensure timely biomarker testing? What are success indicators to gauge effectiveness of this workflow? Have your workflows and TAT indicators involved clinical care teams (i.e. radiology, cancer clinic, oncology, etc.)?
2. In your organization/institution, which areas related to turnaround time are most challenging (i.e time it takes to assess tissue adequacy, time it takes to send to molecular lab, overall turnaround time from biopsy to results reported)?
3. The Action Plan process is designed to help you create a clear path for attaining your patient-centric NSCLC goals. Considering protocols related to testing priorities and/or turnaround times, how could you better streamline the workflow?
