As part of PHE's Anti-Idling Campaign, we are asking parents and families to electronically sign the pledge below.
I hereby pledge to my child and school that I will improve air quality in my community and protect children’s health by turning my engine off when I am stopped for 10 seconds or more, especially at or around my child’s school.
I turn my engine off to:
- Improve the air my child breathes
- Save money on gas
- Reduce climate change emissions
- Prolong the life of my vehicle
