"In the Rough" Application

This is the application for the ‘In The Rough Cohort 4" starting in January of 2025. Applications are accepted for Cohort 4 until November 30, 2024.

In addition to this form, you must submit writing (up to 25 pages) and an application fee of $25. See below for instructions.

In The Rough Cohort 4 is a two year program with four virtual weekend retreats and monthly Zoom meetings with a small cohort of writers (8-10) working towards a book-length draft (up to 300 pages by the end of the program). Your commitment to this program will be to your own writing and the deadlines within the schedule as well as showing up for the other writers, having read their work and being prepared and open to give and receive feedback on their writing during the retreats.
