Fall 2021 CGCC Metallica Scholars
This application is for the Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) Metallica Scholars Initiative. Applicants must submit information using this form to be considered. The application becomes property of CGCC after submission and is treated as confidential information.

This Initiative is intended for students enrolled in the Construction Technology, Advanced Manufacturing & Fabrication, or Electro-Mechanical Technology programs. Scholars will be awarded $1,700, to be distributed as follows: $600 Fall 2021, $500 Winter 2022, and $600 Spring 2022.

CGCC Metallica Scholars are required to submit an acceptance form and thank-you note to CGCC Foundation.

The following criteria will be used to determine eligibility: financial need, strong motivation and desire, timeliness and completeness of application.

All CGCC Metallica Scholars must enroll in a minimum of six credits per term and maintain satisfactory academic progress according to CGCC Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. See here: shorturl.at/frAJP

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Online applications must be submitted by the first day of Fall term September 27, 2021, at 5 p.m. Applicants will receive a notification message through CGCC email.

CGCC Foundation recommends that applicants type responses to the essay questions in a Word or Google document and copy/paste them in the online application to ensure that work is saved.
