Dear Parents and Guardians of College Wood Elementary Students,

Appa is a certified through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and will be working as a therapy dog at College Wood Elementary School for the 2022-2023 School year. She will provide support to students and assist with the overall positive climate of the school. Appa is a Goldendoodle, and while no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, Appa has a non-shedding coat that produces less dander. Dander, which clings to pet hair, is what causes most pet allergies in people.

If you have concerns with your child interacting with Appa, please complete this form. You may also indicate any specific questions you might have.
