2024 Law Enforcement Officer/Firefighter of the Year and Weaver Award Nomination Form
Nominations may be made for exceptional achievement in any law enforcement or firefighting endeavor, including but not limited to extraordinary valor, crime prevention, investigative activity, community relations, juvenile programs, drug prevention and control, training programs, traffic safety and innovative approaches to law enforcement or firefighting service. Nominees should be someone who represents your department/agency with honor and extols the highest standards of law enforcement or firefighting service.
The Weaver Award is reserved for a current or recently retired officer or firefighter and recognizes them for outstanding service and performance for at least 20 years.
Regardless of rank, any law enforcement officer or firefighter employed by a Washtenaw County Agency may submit nominations within their profession. The nomination must be signed by the Chief/Director of the law enforcement or firefighting agency.
