Taylorsville High School National Honors Society Application
Eligibility Requirements:

>The National Honors society is open to grades 9-12. However, all 9th  graders must fill out the new member application since you are new to the school. If you have any question, please talk to Mrs. Bronson in I-103, Mrs. Marshall in V-5, or Mrs. Talkington in I-208.

>Students must have a 3.65 cumulative GPA and satisfactory citizenship grades. The applicant has the responsibility of meeting academic and citizenship standards.

>Students must show evidence of leadership by documenting participation in student activities and leadership opportunities.

>Students must show evidence of school and community service.

>All applicants (both returning and new) must type in their a current class schedule and their GPA on the forms.

>The Standards and Regulations form must be signed by both the student and the parent/guardian upon acceptance into NHS.

>Each member of the Honor Society is required to pay $20 in annual dues in the bookstore after receiving an acceptance letter.

>Upon acceptance, NHS students are required to complete at least 10 hours of service during this school year.

>Students must complete this application by September 22, 2023. Letters will be sent by mail to inform you of your acceptance in the National Honors Society.
