Innovation on the Hills 2021: Request to demo
Are you doing something interesting in tech? Do you have something you'd like to show off to a wider audience? If so, why not come and demo your latest concept, MVP, mobile solution, app, business or device at the first Innovation on the Hills event which is happening during the Malvern Festival of Innovation?  

*How does it work?*
On the afternoon of the event, we will start with some networking and a table top expo in the foyer. Then we'll have our demo sessions back to back. Each demo slot is 2 minutes with 1 minute for Q&A and then we move on to the next one. After all the demos are finished, we'll have more networking before we close at around 5pm.

*How do I get a demo slot?*
Please fill in the form below to apply for your place. All applications will be reviewed by Adrian Burden (Malvern Festival of Innovation) and Helen Keegan (BetaDen) and we will choose the ones we think are most interesting and relevant to our audience and we will contact you to let you know if you're successful or not. We hope to include as many of you as we can.

Preference to demo will be given to non VC funded start-ups. The format is show 'n tell style rather than pitching for funding or to win a big prize although there may be investors in the audience so please bear that in mind. All can apply whether you're at prototype or concept stage or full-fledged and up and running or something in between. The aim is to show off innovation in technology that the audience and community may not have seen before and to give the demo companies a chance to get some feedback.

What insight can you share with us?
As part of the demo slot, we ask that each participant shares at least one piece of insight about what they're working on.  Examples include (but are not limited to) - something interesting and relevant you discovered when researching; a surprise discovery about your audience; a surprise discovery about your technology; an insight into how or why you came up with the idea in the first place. It's not compulsory, but it may help to add interest and relevance to your slot.
What is your call to action? *
As part of your demo, we want to know what you're looking for - a call to action. That might be you're looking for investment; it might be that you're looking for intros for partners or clients in a particular sector; It might be that you'd like feedback on the idea; or maybe you're looking to grow the team or some specific expertise to get you to the next stage; or it might be something else. Our view is if you don't ask, you don't get. So please do ask the audience! You never know who is there and who may be able to help you.
Please tell us what equipment you may need in order to demo effectively *
What do you need - wifi, projector, emulator, something else? The simpler the better. And please be prepared to go analogue! We will have wifi and a Windows computer and plug sockets. We're not yet sure what else we'll have, but if you have specific needs, we will try to accommodate them.
Are you interested in exhibiting at the table top exhibition? *
We have room for up to 20 tables where you will be provided with a small table, space for a small pop-up banner, power to plug in a laptop or other equipment. If you are from the current or former BetaDen cohorts, there is no additional charge to exhibit. For everyone else, the charge is from £50 + VAT.
