Dr. Frank Chen, a senior scientist, corporate R&D director and inventor of Frank Chen Research Institute (Raleigh, North Carolina, USA) will present his recent invention of how to proactively mitigate tropical typhoon through algal farming and solar energy farming. He will also present his business plan on how to use the above technologies to create an ecosystem of over $4 trillion annually in size and to provide Taiwan’s needs of 1) green fuels/oils over 191 billion lbs/yr. to replace imported fossil crude oils, 2) 5.4 billion lbs/yr. of bio-fuels for additional 10% electricity generation, and 3) over 350 million metric tons/yr. of carbon dioxide offset credit. He will also discuss which industries related to Pontus Project could enjoy dramatic high growth for the years to come.
