Dear Parent/Guardian,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out and begin the dialogue of discussing speech teletherapy services for your child. If you would like to move forward in pursuing speech therapy services using the Google Hangouts platform please respond to this email. This platform requires internet access as well as a computer with a webcam. You also have the option to waive therapy services for the duration of at home instruction if you believe teletherapy is not appropriate for your child at this time or will not be able to manage this as part of your schedule.This alternative also requires written notice (see question #2 below)
If you wish for your child to receive speech teletherapy services, please be advised of the following guidelines mandated by the United States Department of Education:

1.Parents/Guardians must be present in the room for the entire duration of the teletherapy session.
2. Group therapy sessions may exist using the Google Hangout platform. Parents of other students within the group will also be present during these teletherapy sessions and parent participation may be required in order to to facilitate the lesson.
3. I agree that I will not record or permit any other person to view or listen to the remote services.Thank you so much for your attention on this matter. Wishing you and your family the utmost health and happiness during this time.
