Teaching Science: Making it relevant inside and outside the classroom
We are looking for teachers to share strategies and approaches they use in their classrooms to make science relevant for their learners with other teachers. We invite you to put forward a short proposal that explains your ideas so that we can put a programme together for our professional learning and development day.
Please use this form to let us know you would like to present a session at our Teaching Primary Science Day on 02 October at The University of Auckland, Epsom Campus.
Sessions are either 40 minutes for hands on type activities or 20 minutes 'show and tell' and questions. A data projector and screen are available, as well as rooms where practical work requiring water and/or electricity are available. There is also the possibility of us organising equipment for you if you contact us in advance.
All presenters are asked to provide an information sheet that can be used by teachers in a classroom.
You can upload your presentation and information sheet to a shared Google Drive, details will be provided to you later.
Please submit all these details by 25th July 2021
