We are researchers at Virginia Tech seeking to understand the impact of intrinsic rewards on motivating software professionals to participate in software engineering-related (SE) research studies. This survey seeks to collect feedback on the SE Participants system, a platform that acknowledges the efforts and contributions of software developers in SE research through digital badges. You must be a software professional 18 years or older to participate. A profile on SE participants is not necessary to complete this survey, however participants will have an opportunity to create one at the end. Please answer the following questions honestly.
