Winter Wildlife Program Booking
Hello!

We are excited to bring winter programs to the Creston schools in 2023!

There are two program options:

1. All About Owls (K-7)
This programs focuses on the wonderful world of owls...specifically what species we have in Creston (how to identify them), life cycle, adaptations, hunting techniques and more.  There will be a presentation with lots of visuals, hands-on activities and for Grades 3 and up, an owl pellet dissection.

2. Where do Frogs go in Winter? (K-3)
This program showcases how animals adapt to winter life  - from hibernation to migration to staying put, we will discuss the different ways animals adapt to the winter season.  There will be a presentation with lots of visuals, hands-on activities and close up look at furs, skulls and tracks.

Program runs from January 9th to February 24, 2023. The programs are 45 minutes.  (If you are doing the Owl Program with Grade 3 and up, then the program runs around 1 hour with the owl pellet dissection).

Cost for the program is $60 per class. There is an additional $20 cost for those classes doing the owl pellet dissection (get you 10 pellets per class).

Please fill in the information below and we will get back to you as soon as we can to confirm.

Please also feel free to email us directly at education@discovery-centre.ca to book or with any questions you may have.
