Sigma Phi Lambda: Mentor Interest
Currently, we require all of our elected officers to have a spiritual mentor during their time as an officer. We ask that mentors be female, not related to the officer, and in a different stage of life. Ideally, mentors would be at least 2-3 years out of college at a minimum. We expect mentors and mentees to meet at a minimum twice a month, but ideally weekly. While in person meetings are preferred, virtual are acceptable.

At this time, officers are tasked with finding their own mentor, however, we would love to have a list of Phi Lamb alumna who have an interest in serving as a mentor as there are often officers who struggle to find someone. While filling out this form does not guarantee you will get to mentor an officer, we will definitely utilize this resource to help officers (or members) who need help finding a mentor.

While we do not require mentors to be trained through Leadership Edge, we would love to one day be at the point that we can match all of our officers with a Leadership Edge trained mentor.
