ALASC Spring 2024 Poetry Open Mic Night (Reader Sign-Up)
To celebrate National Poetry Month this April, ALASC is organizing a poetry open mic night! If you self-identify as a poet and wish to share your work with others, please sign up using this form.

Note: This form is for readers (individuals who wish to read their own original poetry) ONLY. If you're interested in attending Poetry Open Mic Night but don't plan to read any work, please keep an eye out for the Zoom registration link to come!

Which event dates would work best for you? *
If none of the proposed dates work for you but you are nonetheless interested in sharing your work, you may submit a prerecorded video of yourself to be played at the event or elect another individual to read your work on your behalf. 

The event duration will depend on the quantity of reader sign-ups but is projected to be 1.5 hours. You do not have to stay for the entire duration of the event and the reader lineup can be scheduled in a way that accommodates your availability.

Practice reading aloud the poems you will be sharing during the event and provide an approximate time estimate. In order to provide a fair experience to all readers, please plan to read for no more than 10-15 minutes.
