About the instructor: For Patricia Maria, tango is a language that allows communication between bodies, minds, and souls. By using a certain grammar of the body, tango creates a frame that allows each dancer to influence the other in a flowing conversation of complex creativity. As a social dancer and a teacher, Patricia encourages all dancers to invite their inner follower/leader, listener/speaker, giver/receiver to the dialogue--regardless of their roles in life or on the dance floor.
