Faculty Workshop: Designing Learning for All
Wednesday, February 12th, 11 am - Noon

Join us for a discussion and demonstration of how to develop a universally designed lesson.

The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework for curriculum design fosters an inclusive learning environment by minimizing barriers to learning. More than a prescribed set of steps and procedures; UDL is a mindset that will help you to optimize the learning experience by supporting the needs of diverse students. A universally designed course experience integrates multiple means of representation (how content is delivered), action and expression (how students demonstrate their knowledge), and engagement (how students participate).
