Every year the Board undertakes a Skills Review, of which this survey is the first step (the LGBs complete a similar survey and process).   Every trustee is asked to participate and the results are compiled into a 'Board Skills Matrix' which is passed to the Chair, who then schedules a team discussion with fellow trustees - the focus is very much on the aggregate results for the Board, and the data informs plans for training, recruitment and succession.

Remember, this is not a test and there are no right or wrong answers.

Most questions require you to answer on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 means very strong, very clear or similar.
