The 9th Annual Student Leadership Conference (SLC) will take place at MRU on
Saturday, January 21st, 2023 from 10:30am-4:30pm.
This year's Conference will also include a Kick-Off Event, which will take place on Friday, January 20th, from 7-9pm. We will have some great prizes, food and of course lots of opportunities for students from all across campus to connect.
The Conference and Kick-Off event is open to all MRU students who are interested in leadership and learning more about what it means to be a leader. The theme for this year is Ignite. Innovate. Inspire, and will include presentations from other student leaders, an opportunity to engage with past student leaders and a new and exciting pitch competition.
Please note: Students interested in participating in the new leadership pitch competition must be able to attend the Friday night Kick-Off Event.
Registration for both parts of the conference is free!
All events will take place on campus.
If you are interested in presenting at the conference, we are seeking presenters to participate and share their experience and passion for leadership and innovation. Presentations will be 40-minutes long, inclusive of Q&A, and can be made by individuals or groups of up to three students. Interested students can submit their application to be a presenter within the registration form below. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
