Students will have access to daily slides as well copies of many assignments in Google classroom. When they are absent they should check there to see what they missed. Occasionally, some assignments will be on paper only, and I will provide a hard copy in the classroom.
I strongly recommend that students purchase their own copies of the two class novels we will be reading: Night by Elie Wiesel and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This is optional as I will provide copies for use in class.
Students will be completing 15-20 minutes of independent, choice reading each day. While I have an extensive classroom library from which students may borrow, they are also welcome to bring their own book.
