2021  CPFC Volunteer Registration
In order to provide a performance venue for all levels of dancers, we rely on an army of volunteers in the pole community and beyond to help the competition run smoothly. Anyone can volunteer and it is a great way to support your pole sisters and brothers. Even competitors are encouraged to volunteer after they have completed their events! Volunteers are invited to come before their shift, or stay after to enjoy the other performances in the section.

There will be volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

Stage Monitors: Those interested in making sure that competitors are checked in at the stage and ready to compete to allow the competition to run smoothly are encouraged to register. You’ll also be cueing the DJ, directing backstage traffic, and will have a front row (well, side view) seat to the action.

Pole Cleaners and Head Pole Cleaner: Those interested in cleaning the poles between competitors are encouraged to apply. Must be comfortable with climbing a 14' pole between 15-30 times in two-four hours. If you’re not sure if competing is for you, but still want to get onstage, this might be just the job! Pole cleaners should bring a black shirt and black shorts (shoes/boots optional) that meet CPFA costume standards for coverage (no smaller than a Bad Kitty Brazil short).  For the Head Pole Cleaner, we are looking for someone to make sure all pole cleaners are present, organize the flow of who will clean when and make sure everyone knows what their tasks are.

Registration and Badge Assistant: Those interested in checking in competitors as they arrive, checking and selling spectator tickets and programs, and directing all to their proper areas are encouraged to register. This position is great for meeting tons of people, as everyone coming to the event starts at the registration desk.  The Badge Assistant will help distribute badges to volunteers, meet judges in the lobby and engage in other important tasks.

Judge Runner:  This individual will be responsible for collecting judging sheets from the Judge Wrangler, making sure the judges have what they need and more.

Live Stream/ Social Media:  This individual will be responsible for making sure the IG live stream is running, post to social media and more.

Audio:  This is a very important task as you will be in charge of the competitor music.  You must be good with technology and comfortable following the tech sheets for play times.

Aerial Assistant:  This individual would need to be free on Sunday June 14th all day and would be responsible for correctly measuring the height of each apparatus for adjustments.
