Interested in making an impact on your community? Consider joining the CAMOM Board! CAMOM relies on the work of volunteer Board members to achieve its goals as a nonprofit organization. We are starting to recruit for board openings for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, which begins on August 1, 2023.

Which Board/committee(s) are you interested in? Please check any that apply.
PRESIDENT: Oversees management of CAMOM and supervises the affairs of all Board committees in adherence to the organization's mission and goals
VICE PRESIDENT: Assists President in supervising Board committees and assumes duties in absence of either President or Secretary when necessary.
TREASURER: Manages finances of CAMOM including maintaining financial records, tax filing, preparing and maintaining annual budget, distributing relevant funds to committees
SECRETARY: Records and distributes minutes during Executive and General Board Meetings. Maintain awareness of CAMOM's bylaws.
MEMBERSHIP: Is the point person for new and prospective CAMOM members; keeps track of members' active or inactive memberships, and hosts New Member meetup's and playdates at public locations.
SUNSHINE: Supports new parent members and members in times of personal need through meal support (setting up meal train for members to contribute) and executing "big sister" mentoring programs.
PHILANTHROPY: Mobilizes volunteers and resources from CAMOM members to assist families of multiples in need within the broader community. Oversees community outreach events like Trick or Treating Event with local senior living community.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Organizes social activities for members and families upon request.
FAMILY EVENTS: Coordinates large family events including Family Halloween Social, Winter Social, and the Summer Picnic
CONSIGNMENT SALE: Organizes CAMOM's consignment sale which, in the past has been held biannually; in the fall and spring.
FUNDRAISING: Organizes grassroots fundraising initiatives such as local Restaurant Nights, raffle fundraisers and in the past, sales of CAMOM logo merchandise.
SPONSORSHIP: Identifies and builds relationships with corporate and community sponsors for CAMOM, and ensures that CAMOM carries out offerings promised to sponsors.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Manages CAMOM’s social media presence on Instagram and Facebook, including CAMOM's public page and it's members-only community, CAMOM Chat.
NEWSLETTER: Publishes monthly “Multiple Matters” e-newsletter to all members, in order to communicate upcoming events, CAMOM news announcements, and spotlight Twin Level and Triplet Level Sponsors.
WEBMASTER: Maintains public website, member portal, and email addresses thorugh
camom.org
