This form is intended for LSU Law Center students to register to compete in the 2021 Tullis Moot Court Competition. Students with questions should email advocacyprogram@lsu.edu.

Per Tullis Rule 1.1, a Tullis Team must consist of 2 LSU Law students, each of whom must be a 2L (Class of 2022).

If you do not have a partner, contact advocacyprogram@lsu.edu and the Board of Advocates will attempt to match you with another student - please DO NOT complete this form if you do not have a partner!

Competition Schedule & Time Conflicts

Teams have an ongoing obligation to inform the Board of Advocates of any scheduling conflicts. The Board of Advocates will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these scheduling conflicts, but under no circumstances will the date and/or time of the Final Round be moved.

All competition rounds will be held online on Zoom.

Preliminary Round 1: October 1, 2020, between 6 and 10 pm

Preliminary Round 2: October 5, 2020, between 6 and 10 pm

Octofinal Round: October 8, 2020 between 6 and 10 pm

Quarterfinals: October 12, 2020 between 6 and 10 pm

Semifinals: October 15, 2020 between 6 and 10 pm

Final Round: Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6 pm

Neither team member has any conflicts with the above dates and times.

Moot Court External Team Tryouts

Participation in the Tullis Competition is REQUIRED to try out for a moot court external (traveling) team, as participants must submit their Argument section of the Tullis brief. However, submission of this form does *NOT* register either team member for external team tryouts.
