Expression of interest to provide Consultancy and Analytical Services

Sri Lanka is in the worst economic state since independence in 1948. This has impacted the regular activities and operations of our University. The National responsibility for increasing revenue has been distributed to state and private entities. By effectively utilizing the resources, we need to give our contribution to our nation.

In an effort to bring additional revenue to the University, UBL is seeking Academic staff who are interested in providing intellect consultation and instrumental services to industries, businesses and researchers through the university. By this the local entrepreneurs and SME’s will be directly benefited in expanding their customer bases specially in abroad, thus bringing in foreign exchange to the county.

Revenue generation for and by Laboratory instruments to operate and maintenance
Explore avenues for research and development with industrial partnership and funding

Financial distribution will be based on financial committee approval taken for benefit sharing.
