Project member for Consulting & Finance Day 2019
We at KTH Finance Society are happy to organise Consulting Day and Finance Day this year as well. For this we need help from project members.

Consulting Day is a fair that is aimed at students interested in management consulting. Companies that attended last year include Ascend, BearingPoint, EY and KPMG.

Finance Day is a fair that is aimed at students interested in investment banking & financial services. Last year, BlackRock, Carnegie Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank, Lazard & SEB amongst other participated on Finance Day.

In previous years, project members have described their participation as a boost to their CV. Project members get the chance to meet companies within the finance and consulting industry and exclusive opportunities for networking with company representatives are given both during the fair and during the banquet, where you are guaranteed a ticket.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player and problem-solver. Being interested in the consulting profession or the finance industry is a plus, but not a must.

The workload is about 25 hours distributed over 5 weeks, from the end of August to the end of September. The different roles of a project member are explained further down in the form.

Finance Day will take place September 18 while Consulting Day is on September 30, 2019.

Description of the roles
Event host: Your assignment will consist of helping companies carry out their various events during the fair (case events, interviews etc.). As event host, your role is to make sure that everything works on these events. This means, for example, helping companies find the right room, ensuring that there are supplies there and informing participating students about where and when they take place.

Entrance host: As entrance host, your task is to welcome all fair visitors and ensure that the students attending are registered. You will direct companies and students to the right place at the fair. The assignment also entails responsibility for handing out goodie bags and nameplates to all exhibition visitors.

Lounge host: In the role of lounge host you will take responsibility for the corporate and student lounges. This means you have to make sure there is food and drink in place. As a lounge host, you also have the privilege of being able to mingle with company representatives and dedicated students who visit the lounge.

Fair host: As a fair host, you have a classic role at the fair. You will be assigned an individual company but should be available to all if any problem arises. Otherwise, your task is to make sure that everything works at the fair and that both companies and visitors are satisfied.
