Genesee FPD Defensible Space Walking Tour
Genesee Fire Rescue and the Forest Stewards Guild invite you to participate in a walking tour of defensible space actions across the community. Creating defensible space is a vital aspect of reducing your home's wildfire risk and creating safer conditions for firefighters to defend your home during a wildfire. Join us to learn about key aspects of defensible space, view actions taken by GFR and community members to make their properties more defensible, and discuss tactics to create defensible space around your home.

The tours will be offered on Thursday, June 3rd from 6-7:15 pm and Saturday, June 5th from 10-11:15 am. Participation will be limited to 30 people per day, and the event will be recorded and posted online for those who cannot attend in person. COVID-19 precautions will include mandatory mask use and social distancing measures.

Please fill out the following registration if you are interested in attending. Fill out a separate registration for each family member planning to attend.
