Event Info:
Two producers will be on stage and square off against each other. A coin will be flipped to decide who goes first. Two stations will be set up for the producers to perform their ORIGINAL music in a battle style. Each producer will perform for two minutes each time they play. Only one beat/song can be performed each time you play.

Round 1 will consist of one beat/song each, round 2 will consist of two beats/songs each and round 3 will consist of three beats/songs each. We will time things with a stopwatch and warn when there's 30 seconds left.

CDJs will be provided, you can also bring your own gear, play from a DAW or simply plug in via AUX and play directly from a .wav file. There will be no instrumentation used for these battles to make changeover times quick.

Judging
Judges vote on station 1 or 2 with score cards on criteria of:
Crowd Reaction, Mixing Skills, Production Skills
Winner advances to the next round
Contestants generally want 12-20 beats to battle and should not use the same beat twice.
Original productions only. If your beat is recognized as someone else's work, it will result in automatic disqualification.
All genres are welcome and encouraged.
