2. 4D HIFU Pre-Treatment Information

The HIFU facelift treatment has changed a lot of lives for the better. However, not everyone who has undergone one of these life-changing treatments has gotten the most from it.

Why? They do not take the Post and  Aftercare treatments seriously.

Get the most from your HIFU facelift treatment.

The High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatments we offer our clients are an ideal non-surgical, non-invasive alternative to skin tightening. Using focused ultrasound, the treatment stimulates the production of collagen, helping to firm up areas where wrinkles, dimples and sagging can occur.

Please avoid the following for 7 days before the treatment;

• Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning. Sun burned or tanned skin will not be treated.

• All skin irritants must be stopped (glycolic/ salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol products (such as Retin A, Tazorac, Triluma, Differin, and Vitamin C) on the area being treated

• Advise staff when taking antibiotics. Certain antibiotics (Tetracycline, Doxycycline) can make a patient photosensitive, therefore, treatment may not be able to done until two weeks after completion of antibiotic.

• As you approach the day of your treatment ensure that you don’t have any cold sores or fever blisters in the treatment area so that these can be treated quickly with an anti-viral medication. You’ll only be able to undergo HIFU treatment once these have disappeared.

 Day of your HIFU treatment

On the day of your treatment, don’t apply any makeup or moisturiser to the treatment area. We will, however, need to apply an ultrasound gel to the area/s being treated
