Betty Maguire will be awarding one free event registration to a Brighton Fringe event that has dance at the core of its work. Being a Contemporary Dance Artist herself, Betty is passionate about bringing more dance to the Brighton Fringe 2023 programme and welcomes applications from both independent dance artists and dance companies. 

Please note, participants will still need to arrange a venue to host the event independent of the bursary and secure a contract with said venue agreeing ticket split or hire fee.

Criteria:

• The awarding work may be multidisciplinary; however dance must be a significant aspect of the work. The bursary is open to applicants from all stages of their career, from emerging to established.

• Applications close on Monday 23 January 2023
