Program:  The Summer Bridge Academy will be conducted IN PERSON this Summer  at all elementary and middle schools. The program will be open to all students in grades K-5. The program will help students transition to the next grade level by having them engage in interactive meaningful learning activities focusing on the California Common Core State Standards.

Duration:
June 21 – July 30 (Monday – Friday)
No School July 5th

Student Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
30-minute lunch

Student Selection: The program will be offered on a first come, first served basis ensuring that the students with the most academic needs receive support.  Applications will be considered based on the date and time that the student application was submitted.

Program Structure: 2 hours of English Language Arts, 1.5 hours of Mathematics, and 1 hour of enrichment activities such as music, art, science, physical education, or social studies.

El programa se ofrecerá a todos los estudiantes en los grados K-5. El programa ayudará a los estudiantes en la transición al siguiente grado, haciéndoles participar en actividades significativas de aprendizaje interactivas utilizando los Estándares Estatales Comunes de California.
