Volunteer for the 2020 National Live Music Awards
We're looking for people around Australia to act as volunteers for the 2020 National Live Music Awards which will take place in the following cities on 20th October 2020.
Volunteers will get hands on experience at running an event, will work with musicians and industry to celebrate the live music industry and get to be part of the inaugural event for what we hope will be an event to run for a long time into the future. This is an event that won't happen without volunteer support - so we would love you to be a part of the history making event.
Your commitment would be for the day of the event ONLY - with a phone conference in the week leading up to the event to bring you across everything. You would need to be able to get to the venue (The Triffid) around 2pm on the day of the event, and you'd need to be able to stay until the event finishes - though your specific role may only last for a portion of this, and some cities will be much shorter than others.
If you can't commit to these times, then please do not apply to be a volunteer.
The examples of the sorts of roles that will be available:
- VIP / GA door person - provide passes to the VIPs and guests, make sure everyone has the appropriate wristband and knows where they need to be on the night.
- Stage manager (assist bands on stage, and help give out the awards)
- Camera person for social media (Video or Photo)
- Social media coordinator (you may be facilitating the Facebook Live stream, or overseeing tweets and coverage from the event)
- Technical assistant (assist sound/lights crew where needed; help with the projections and screens on the night)
