Swimmers are returning Gators who are entering grades 8th-12th grade who assist our coaches on deck and in the water with our youngest swimmers and basic setup for practices and meets.

*Senior swimmers (entering 9th-12th grades) will be paid based on years of service with our team.***If budget allows.
*Junior swimmers (entering 8th grade)) This is a volunteer position however years of service will be applied to future years salary.

Guidelines for Senior/Junior Swimmers:

1. Commit to helping most practice days with 6 and Under and 7/8 practice times. Approximately 4:45-6:45 PM during afternoon practice times and 7:45-9:45 AM during morning practice times.
2.  Race for the team!  Attend your own age group practice and swim at the meets
3.  Assist the coaching staff at practices as directed
4.  Wear appropriate suits to work.  Women’s two piece suits are not suitable for work.  Men’s Speedos are not suitable for work.
5.  For practices with the younger groups, be in the water or on deck and watching as directed
6.  Assist in putting in lane ropes, setting up equipment, etc. prior to practice, and then assist in putting this equipment away in the Gator Shack.  Assist in setting up the pool for home meets
7.  Assist with meet setup and tear down as needed.
8.  Contact the Assistant Coach over Senior Swimmers for your schedule and if you are unable to attend practice.
8.  In the event of problems with swimmers or parent, first notify a Coach of the issue at hand.  The Steering Committee will make the final decision regarding problem resolution based on individual circumstances.
