Ms. Gallanos works as the Elementary literacy and School Readiness Director for the Colorado Department of Education. Before that she was a graduate research assistant for the National P-3 Center at the University of Colorado Denver, and before that the Literacy Content Educational Specialists II/Early Childhood Administrator for the Alaska Department of Education. Ms. Gallanos has a Bachelor of Arts with an Emphasis in Behavioral Science from the University of Utah, a Masters of Education/Special Education from the University of Utah, and an Educational Doctorate from the University of Colorado Denver.
Ms. Jensen has been the Itinerant Principal, Federal Grants manager, Thorne Bay Principal, Special Education Director, and is currently the Interim Superintendent for the Southeast Island School District. Before that she was the PreK-12 Principal at the Northwest Arctic Borough School District, and Elementary Principal and Special Education Director at the Wrangell Public School District. Ms. Jensen has an Associate of Arts degree from the Northland Community College, a Bachelors in Science in Special Education from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, A Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Alaska Southeast, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
