OLD - Customer Experience/Support Specialist

As part of our customer service team, you'll be the first point of contact for our brands assisting our customers through every step of their Babybee experience. Our customer service team prides themselves on being super helpful, compassionate baby product experts who make our customers end to end experience memorable and positive.

Work from our Melbourne office or at home anywhere in Australia with regular and flexible hours available.

So who are we? We’re Babybee, one of Australia’s leading online pram retailers. We help make #ParentLife less stressful, more stylish, more fun with baby products that are a breeze to use and very nice to look at (if we do say so ourselves). It's an exciting time to be part of the Babybee team. We're currently experiencing high growth, entering new product categories and expanding into new international markets.

The day-to-day 

  • You'll be the first point of contact for our brands, providing world class support customers online via our eHelp Desk (email, Messenger and live chat) – the kind they’re still talking about months later!
  • Identifying opportunities to improve lead generation opportunities, our website, or sales resources.
  • Identifying customer experience improvement opportunities across the entire customer journey.
  • Order administration.
  • Assist with the coordination and running of pop-up warehouse sales.

About you

  • You genuinely love working with customers and you thrive on making each customer’s experience truly amazing!
  • Patience and empathy are two of your strongest traits and you have a genuine care for all people.
  • You have a strong work ethic, a willingness and ability to learn and get involved across all areas of the business.
  • You are very attentive and have strong attention to detail.
  • You’re tech-savvy and if you haven’t used a specific web-based platform or database previously, you’ll figure it out and be confident navigating your way around in no time.

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional written communication skills are essential. 
  • Other than that we don't have any specific experience required. If you've got the right attitude we can train you in everything else you'll need to to the job well. 

Role specifics

  • Full time or part time
  • Hours: We would eventually like to offer 24/7 support and will happilly discuss your preffered working hours, days and start times. 
  • Work from our Yarraville office or from home anywhere in Australia. 
  • Salary and job description negotiable for the right candidate.

Please note: We have an office Labradoodle so if you are in the office you will need to be happy with giving the occasional pat or having him sleep next to your desk!
