Being a Homeroom Parent is a great way to support your child’s homeroom teacher and help them pull together celebrations and other social events.  Plus, the students will be very appreciative of the downtime and fun! Bring your unique planning skills and personality to the role☺

PLEASE NOTE: Pandemic safety precautions at Greene School currently do not allow parents to enter Greene. Teachers will appreciate your help brainstorming fun activities with the other grade-level Homeroom Parents and purchasing, preparing and dropping off materials for classroom events.

We are looking for one or more PRIMARY HOMEROOM PARENTS and TWO OR MORE ASSISTANT HOMEROOM PARENTS.

A PRIMARY HOMEROOM PARENT WILL:
• Help their homeroom teacher plan celebrations.
• May help with end of year teacher gifts from the class.
• May help with birthday celebrations.
- May help with planning social events for the homeroom teacher to get to know their students.

NOTE: Please fill out a separate form if you have more than one student at Greene and volunteering in both of their classrooms.

Each classroom will receive reimbursement from the PTO of up to $50 per year for supplies purchased for the class. Items for activities and parties are usually donated by parents in the classroom.

PLEASE NOTE: End-of-year teacher gift cannot come out of PTO reimbursement, so please use this money during the school year.
