Who We Are: The Student Voice Committee is a non-political committee under the Associated Students of UCR (ASUCR) dedicated to figuring out the needs, wants, and desires of the student body. We accomplish this by conducting polls, surveys, and individual research on the relevant topics and issues that concern UCR students. Afterwards, we aggregate the data we collect and present it to our student government and campus administration.
Our Aim: The aim of the Student Voice Committee is to become more efficient and effective in serving the needs of students by meeting and working with them, whether virtually or in-person. Together, we aim to present both what students think the University does strongly and what they can improve on. This in turn helps the committee provide the appropriate leadership and governance to ASUCR to inspire positive change.
If you have a topic or topics in mind that you would like the Student Voice Committee to do research on or create a study about, feel free to fill out this form or email the Student Voice Committee at
asucrsvc@ucr.edu and we will be more than happy to help.
Our studies are conducted with a 5% margin of error in our findings of what the overall student population thinks. We pride ourselves on our ability to speak with over 300 students each week and our statistical analysis of these findings.
Some of our past studies include classroom etiquette and academic experiences, student employment, campus beautification, textbook prices, food options on campus, and much more.
Feel free to check out all of our findings on the ASUCR website in visually pleasing info-graphics. If there is a topic or topics that we have already researched before that you think may be worth researching again in the future, feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to look into it.
Thank you.
